- thus speaks John Howard.
What?
When did that happen - I mean that John Howard ever started listening to us?
Was that on 26 May 2000, when more than 250,000 people walked across Sydney Harbour Bridge in a show of solidarity for reconciliation with the Aboriginal people of Australia?
Nope!

Nope!
Howard is delusional.
There is one cure for his condition - a resounding defeat in a Federal Election.
Bring it on!

I marched in Sydney on each occasion. Isn't the prescience of so many Australians on these two major issues wonderful? History has borne out the need for commitment to the situation of Aboriginal people and commitment to peace. But did our thick politicians listen? Did they try to see what so many Australians could and still do see? No - and we continue to pay the price for the negativity, meanness, lack of compassion, and posturing on the international stage.
Hi Miss Eagle
Good to hear from you. Why am I not surprised that you were there?
It was just a guess on my part to select those two big "events" where the "hoi poloi" marched in order to make their "voices" heard. But Howard refused to listen.
And now he claims to be "listening". Total rubbish.
Cheers.
